Nutrition
Ingredients
Taco
- 2 servings Seasoned Seitan "Steak"
- 1/2 cup Just Egg liquid
- 4 Mission Plant Protein Tortillas these have really good macros so this is what we use; you can sub these with another tortilla but the calories and macros will likely be different
- 1 serving Vegan Queso
Instructions
- Make the vegan queso per the recipe linked in the ingredients section.
- Make the seitan steak per the recipe linked above.
- In a medium-low heat pan, add your Just Egg liquid and cook. I like to continuously move the Just Egg around while it cooks so that it becomes a scrambled egg like texture
- Assembly: Divide two servings of the seitan steak and the cooked Just Egg amongst the tortillas. Pour a little vegan cashew queso on each taco.

Notes
These High Protein Vegan Steak and Egg Tacos require a bit of preparation – you’ll need to prepare the seasoned seitan steak beforehand. But, hey, if you have already made it and are looking for another way to use it, this is a great one! You can also make your own liquid Just Egg!

Ingredients
- Seasoned Seitan Steak – I make my seasoned seitan steak with silken tofu and vital wheat gluten. It takes awhile to make but it’s delicious and has amazing macros! If you don’t have the time to make your own seitan steak (or don’t want to), you could swap this with the Meati Carne Asada or Beyond Steak products; the macros and calories may change though.
- Just Egg liquid – I used the Just Egg liquid for this, but you could also use the patties if that’s easier!
- Mission Plant Protein Tortillas – these have really good macros so this is what we use; you can sub these with another tortilla but the calories and macros will likely be different.
- Vegan Queso – this one uses cashews and soy milk.

Directions
- Follow the recipe linked to make the vegan queso.
