Valentine’s Day Gift Idea for a Gym Lover

I may get a small commission when you make purchases with these links, at no extra cost to you. Read my disclosure.

This is not really my usually content, but I thought I would share a Valentine’s Day gift idea if you have someone in your life that is into fitness or really prioritizes protein in their diet which makes them less likely to want a bunch of chocolate. This gift would also work great for a birthday (or honestly any holiday).

For this specific Valentine’s Day gift idea, I’m using a bag of edamame puffs. Basically, buy a bag of edamame puffs, wrap it or just toss a pretty bow on it, and make some “love coupons” that are redeemable for protein sweet treats that are made with edamame puffs! If you are soy-free, they actually make pea protein crisps that have similar macros and can be used as a substitute. Alternatively, you could choose another shelf-stable protein-focused product like TVP, vital wheat gluten, peanut powder, etc. if you either can’t find edamame puffs or would prefer to use something else.

For this gift, I put together love coupons for eight different protein snacks, and you should be able to make all of them with just the one bag of edamame puffs.
